Introducing the YRA Jumbo Cup!
A number of larger boat skippers have approached the YRA and indicated they would like a set of races that are longer in distance, 20 plus miles, and a set of race specifically for larger, faster boats. The YRA Jumbo Cup is a set of longer races specifically for larger and faster boats and comprised of a set of existing races. Boats can sail the Jumbo Cup and other YRA series and be scored in both the Jumbo Cup and other YRA series. Boats sailing in the Jumbo Cup and other YRA series get a discount on signup fees.
This should also be an excellent series for boats planning on racing this year’s Pac Cup. Race with your Pac Cup crew in preparation for the Pac Cup race.
Trophies for division winners will be awarded at the YRA’s Awards Ceremony in November.

- Minimum length of 36 feet
- Minimum rating of 51 or below
- Four races with one throw-out

Jumbo Cup, a $60 savings compared to entering races as single race entries – $160
Jumbo Cup plus Sunday of the Great Vallejo Race, a $50 savings compared to entering races as single race entries – $220
Jumbo Cup plus the remaining OYRA Series, an $80 savings compared to entering races as single race entries – $290
Jumbo Cup plus the remaining YRA Summer Series, an $80 savings compared to entering races as single race entries – $240
