The Encinal Regatta – September 12th
While the pandemic has forced us to cancel our YRA Summer Series and the traditional versions of our YRA Weekend Regattas, we are pleased to announce 2 upcoming YRA races reconfigured for double handed racing!
Please join us on August 29th for the Island Tour Regatta, hosted by Richmond Yacht Club, with both spinnaker and non-spinnaker divisions for doublehanded crews (or singlehanded). The first warning is at 1055 hrs and the course will take sailors from the western edge of the Berkeley Circle, to Blackaller, to Red Rock to the finish off the RYC Race Platform. On Saturday, September 12th we’ll be running the rescheduled and revised Encinal Regatta. Now a one day race for double handed crews (or singlehanded) in spinnaker or non-spinnaker division. It’s still the same great course, with boats sailing from the backside of Treasure Island out to Pt Bonita then heading to the finish at the entrance to the Oakland/Alameda Estuary.
