The YRA has developed a Race Committee Guidelines document that Principal Race Officers (PROs) can use to learn how to run races better, accessible here. A one-page “cheat sheet” that includes a suggested radio script is available here; we suggest PROs print it out, laminate it, and bring it to races for reference.
